Andersons Bay Road and McBride Street
Do you support or oppose the proposed changes?
I/We oppose the proposed changes
What is your feedback on the proposed changes
► Your proposed parking restrictions will create a problem for people working in the area that need a place to park all day.
► You claim that your motivation is "to help support businesses by increasing the parking turnover in the area", but we all know that the real reason is that you (staff and Councillors) are infested with car-hating environmental extremists whose main purpose in life is to destroy Dunedin's roading system and wreck the local economy in the process. The extermination of car parks is one of your primary weapons towards this end.
► Do not think that your noble aspirations justify your sneaky, dishonest methods? Gradualism is one of the grubby tactics that you are using here - and for other attacks on both car parking and speed limits. If you can only impose your objectives on us by being dishonest, then you should question your objectives, as well as your respect for democracy and freedom.
► You are a bunch of freaks: the majority of Dunedin citizens oppose your extremist, enviro-facist beliefs. We tell you this every day by choosing to drive our single-occupant car to work and to where-ever we choose to travel. We choose freedom, you want restriction. Do not be deluded by the very loud voices of some very small groups of similarly minded activists. You and them are a tiny minority here in Dunedin - if you don't believe me... then count the cars.
► I think it is sad that the 1960's Hippie ideals of Peace, Love and Freedom have inspired your destructive environmental extremist ideology - which you now try to spread by using Hate, Dishonesty and Tyranny. I suggest that all of you DCC car-haters, enviro-extremists and political activists start a commune, a very great distance from here - so that the rest of us can live our lives without being molested by you.
