This is an outrage. This change is supposed to benefit students, but did no one consider that students are the only residents of this street? Where are we supposed to park our cars permanently? I believe it is more important for residents to safely park their cars rather than committing reckless actions, such as blocking driveways (which is already proven an issue). Students who were willing to sign a flat far enough from uni that driving was necessary should not be viewed as a priority when it was simply poor planning on their behalf. These students should also consider their carbon footprint and find alternative ways to get to uni such as public transport or cycling.
