People suggesting these changes must be out of their minds or, perhaps, they do not have anything productive do – other than make Dunedin citizens' lives as difficult and miserable as they can.
While DCC is seeking to make money out of it, it will have drastic economic effects on the city, as the students and staff in those two educational institutions will be unable to park reducing students' attendance and eventually making Dunedin as a less likely place to study.
Just asking a simple question; why would students come into this city because they cannot park where they live and the accommodations do not have parking spaces – you have to be kidding.
While the current council has already done significant damage to the city and citizens' lives, it appears that the council is out of touch from reality.
The council is NOT working for the citizens (as they should); it is becoming an elite organisation imposing its power on citizens. I will not be voting for any of the persons on this council - for sure.
