There are a huge number of people who work and learn in this area (staff and students of the polytech). 240 mins parking in this area is not sufficient enough as it doesn't coincide with a working day. Everyday I have students just swapping carparks with others multiple times a day to combat the 240 parking on forth street which becomes dangerous, a waste of carbon emissions and also lost class time. I would request that you change the parking to 240 during hours when sports teams are playing ie 4-7pm Mon-Fri and all day Saturday but leave it unrestricted at all other times.
