With the large number of student flats in this area, and an increase with the number of students owning vehicle, this will make it near impossible to find unrestricted parking close to our flats. Changing these park to restricted will not only be a waste of time, but in fact a waste of money, as I presume there will be people checking these parks throughout the day. Save time and money and let people living in the surrounding area of Harbour, Dundas, Forth, St Davids, Union, Clyde etc have the ability to find an unrestricted park. It's hard enough finding a park, and it makes students not want to drive as we may loose our park. Moreover, causing students like me to feel more anxious when driving, which effectively affects our ability to drive carefully and focussing on the road.
I don't understand how this will help people find a park, when there is a limited time. As this doesn't fill in a full day of University or work for people commuting to work who work on or near campus.
Please do not make these changes as it is hard enough to find an unrestricted park near my flat as is, and this will make it near impossible with the proposed parking.
