The idea for times parking in this area appears to be putting a direct target on students that live on this street and don’t have the space or land to park off the street. Many students in the surrounding area also use these parking spaces to be able to easily access their homes without risk of fees and fines. As the council has recently added timed and paid parking spots to other areas around the city, any need for extra funds going to the council seems completely unnecessary. Please take into consideration those around the area who rely on these parking spaces before changing them to time limited spaces.
