I do not understand why this change is being proposed. There is already next to no unrestricted parking around this area. I am lucky that I have a paid park within a 10 min walk of work but I know that it isn't the same for everyone. Those who live in the area have no off street parking most of the time. Students who have parked in these and end up having to stay late will end up with tickets. Students already tend to be poor so the last thing they need is a mountain of parking tickets for staying 20 minutes extra. There is already so many time limit parks that help 'the turnover and availability of parking'.
