Dear Sir
Thanks for the letter dated 17 July 2024 dating proposed changes to parking in the Harbour Terrace & St David St area. Parking in a residential area is an amenity long cherished by home owners and tenants and providing access for visitors. Your restrictions are limiting the use of this amenity and are going to deter people taking up new tenancies where parking is not available. We view this proposal as an encroachment on residential areas that ought to be off limits .. We suggest that other remedial actions could be taken by planners to provide on site parking and leave residential ares untendered.
