I understand that the council is wanting to make these changes to improve turn over, however I believe all that is going to be achieved is more money being made off students trying to park their vehicles close to their homes (those that live on Harbour Terrace). This feels like yet another attempt at making money off of a group of people that are already struggling to find parks. Perhaps a better alternative could be to have the parking limit only active on weekends, this would be much different to the limits seen around the city however due to the nature of the request I think this would be the best solution if the council is set on putting time limits on the parks. The people who use these parks for Hockey are mostly present during the weekends so this would make sense. Alternatively the council could put limitations on the Logan Park parking spots, or just create more permanent parking for residents of the area so they do not need to use the parks by the hockey turf.
