Parking around the University and Polytechnic has become more challenging for staff as the years go on. We have just lost a series of parking spots on Union St East, as they were replaced with bus stops. The Uni car park only holds a limited number and is always used by their staff. The staff park waiting list for both institutions is essentially endless. Removing all day spots on Harbour Terrace will cause further strain to staff, and residents of the road. There are plenty of P120 parks for sports facilities users that are unusable for staff working a full day. Teaching staff are not able to leave the classroom to hop between P120 spots all day. Please re-consider.
