For students, it is difficult enough to find parking space around the North Dunedin area. I will be moving onto Harbour Terrace next year, and the flat i will be moving into has one allocated space, but our flat has a total of two cars, so one person will have to park on the street. What i am most concerned about is having to park quite a distance away from my flat and having to walk back to it- especially in the dark. There are not many other parking options around the area that are accessible for us living on Harbour Terrace. Around the sports ground there seems to be plenty of parking, some which are time restricted, which is much more practical for those using the sports ground. Alternatively, maybe making some of the parks time restricted on Harbour Terrace, then seeing how often they are used by sports ground users might be a better option.
