After already taking away the parking out of 135 Union Street, this should not be allowed. Thousands of people attend the university/polytechnic every day, including those who are parents with childcare needs, or students living in the surrounding area where they cannot physically park in their driveway due to the density of housing. We do not have a good enough public transport system to make up for these changes either. The council works for the people, this change is only going to cause financial hardship for people who are already struggling with the cost of living.
