We are one of the several families live around the area permanently. ( we have been already residing here for the past 5-6 years) It has been difficult enough without a car park available along our street. Please put yourself in our shoes and think about what would you do after grocery shopping, especially on raining days, when you could not find a car park near your house. You park temporarily near your house to upload the grocery and was told that you were not allowed to do that and would get a ticket next time. If those residential only car parks get converted to the space for everyone to park, our lives will be made very quite difficult. We have been using the residential car park outside 27-29 grange street for the past 5-6 years. For a resident, I believe to have a available car park should be a basic right. Please do consider our needs.
We forgot to renew the permit earlier and passed the July date for application because we didn't receive an email notice/ reminder as the past 5 years and forgot it until we got a ticket.
