a better solution to improve parking and traffic movement on the Esplanade would be to shift the carpark to the grassed area on Victoria road and replace carpark with grassed area for children and families to play or picnic.
by bringing all traffic in from Victoria Road would decrease the Traffic Movement on the Esplanade by at least 50% making it much safer traffic could still exit onto the Esplanade to stop any congestion on Victoria road.. the current Grassed area from what i can tell has never been utilized as you are looking into the road instead of the Beach.
