It works fine the way it is. There’s a bus stop right there. Maybe another mobility park would be good. I think you should pedestrianise the road from Forbury/vic roundabout to the end of the esplanade cobblestones (not sure how you would make the tarmac part of Esplanade two-way to provide access, though). There are so many people walking and kids running and on bikes that making this area car free seems like it should be the priority.
