As someone who works in the John Wickliffe House, I thoroughly disagree with the plans to introduce new P30/60/120 areas. The current 240 maximum is appropriate given there is mainly big offices around the area, in which that parking is perfect for a half day at work / longer meetings, or even parking there to go to nearby gyms. Shortening of times signficantly disrupt this, and there already is plenty of short term parking of that length around. Please leave the 240 areas as they are.
This seems like a plan for the DCC to increase their revenue by having shorter parking times, and thus more chances to give out parking tickets, rather than actually improving turnover to nearby businesses.
