What is your feedback on the proposed changes
I support some of the changes but not all: 2x angled parks changed to 2x P30s - SUPPORT 9x angled Paid 240-minute parks changed to Paid 60 - DON'T SUPPORT IN FULL, WOULD SUPPORT 4 OF THESE PARKS BEING CONVERTED 11x parallel Paid 240-minute parks changed to Paid 120 - DON'T SUPPORT IN FULL, WOULD SUPPORT 4 OF THESE PARKS BEING CONVERTED. In my opinion the parking situation in Dunedin has become really bad. Living in Mosgiel, I now avoid town altogether if possible. We have two office carparks that are shared between everyone in the office and if I don't get one of these parks, I work from home. This will obviously deprive nearby businesses of income (in my case, primarily cafes/restaurants). I have school drop offs and pickups to do and if I need to rely on finding a park at that time of the day (after school drop off) then it is often only a 1 hour park. This is hugely disruptive to my working day, having to go and find a new park every hour. I think this has been a driver of people not returning to our office post-covid, as it is easier to work from home than try and find a park in town.
