I am very relieved and pleased that the Transport Department of the DCC is finally addressing the extremely dangerous parking of vehicles in Queens Drive, west of City Road, thankfully before a serious accident inevitably occurred.
The proposed 'no parking' restrictions would allow us and our neighbours to once again, safely exit our Queens Drive driveway with visibility, and restore 2-way use of this narrow section of road. We would no longer have to be fearful of playing Russian roulette when exiting the driveway or avoid using this section of the road when cars are parked there.
