You say you have received feedback from ‘some’ organisations and individuals. Do these views reflect those of the majority? I think you will find people utilise these parks for longer periods of time because the road works down George street make it near impossible to navigate any businesses in town. I strongly feel the poor customer presence is due in partial to the overall inaccessibility of central Dunedin parking, and in part the cost of living crisis making the services these organisations provide not affordable. This is not justification to change what little parking there is left.
