9 year plan feedback
Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
The site has been a key landmark, surely the site has some future use.
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
When travelling you expect to pay to visit site. $20 isn’t unreasonable.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model
Why did you choose this option?
Water infrastructure is a key council responsibility which council need to continue to manage. To offset the cost Aurora needs to be sold to partially offset costs. Aurora has become a liability to ratepayers. The company is not commercially savvy enough under current structure.
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
The team in the water department will know what and how we need to take this area forward. I hope they have contributed majorly to the plan and that their preference is being endorsed by council.
