Submission

9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Please sell the asset

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Could be worth considering a slightly smaller fee for the art gallery as it is smaller/less there

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
I do not support funding for: - Otepoti Live music action plan - Heritage action plan - Dunedin railways ltm & renewal of Taieri George rail track - Increasing frequency of roadside verges maintance I would like to see more funding for community housing as I think there is a huge need here that is only going to increase. I am also very concerned about the number of people struggling in Dunedin and the number of people accessing food banks and wonder if DCC can provide more support for people on low incomes
