Submission

9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
I have no idea what you intend to do with it so difficult to answer. If it can make a significant contribution to Dunedin, then keep it. If not, then get rid of it.

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Many places charge an entry fee overseas. Not sure if $20 is appropriate, for the art gallery I would feel a bit short changed.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
This whole consultation seems designed to put people off engaging in it. Links from these questions to relevant information would have been an obvious way forward.

Local Water Done Well feedback

Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model

Why did you choose this option?
We need to keep control of our assets (and also to maintain them).

Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
Don't confuse water delivery and maintenance with vanity projects.
