9 year plan feedback
Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
I would like to see it used.
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
If it becomes critical to charge people, then I guess we will have to, but I have greatly appreciated not being charged when I have been traveling abroad. To me, it is important to show visitors our art and culture. Introducing charges will lead some people to choose to spend their money on something else.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
I strongly support funding the Wildlife Hospital given its critical role in enabling us to remain the wildlife capital of New Zealand.
I strongly support funding shared pathways for walking/cycling that are safe and separate from traffic as they hugely facilitate Dunedin residence maintaining their health and boost quality of life.
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model
Why did you choose this option?
Clean water is fundamental to human health. I think it needs to be carefully controlled without any risk of conflicts of interest related to potential financial gain.
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
