9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
I'd love to see it reopen as a theatre but if it is just sitting there doing nothing then it would be better to sell it and let someone make something of it. As long as any buyer is compelled to strengthen/develop it and not landbank letting it decay.

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
That's too high and may put people off. I didn't go into a museum once because it was $20 - for couples and families that adds up. A fee of $5 of $10 is more palatable.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
