My whānau would like to see you increase the budget for grant funding. There are so many community groups and not-for-profits that are vital to the well-being of our communities and the people that live here. Many people need support services that central government just do not fund. We need to look after our most vulnerable people and make sure they have services that can support them to grow their resiliance. Its harder and harder for some people to access services with everything including banking going online. This isolates people. Please increase funding for our community services and keep allowing them to get a rates rebate. Investing in these services is investing in the people of Dunedin. We also want you to keep investing in climate change initiatives and the environment, keep working alongside mana whenua so they are part of decision making, and invest in 3 waters. Honour Te tiriti o Waitangi. Thank you
