9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
I support a fee for international visitors but please keep it reasonable - $10 adult and $5 for children is more accessible.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Please look at further ways to cut costs - year on year double digit rates increases are crippling! Some suggestions to cut costs: - Do not fund the final stage of the harbour cycleway - this is an unnecessary cost, particularly in the current climate. - Consider allowing/supporting residents to plant their berms with native tussock/shrubs - this should save costs for maintenance and will provide more soak for rainfall. - Do not spend $24 million on festivals and music events. If the city and/or the stadium cannot attract entertainers you should look at how it operates in this space rather than throwing more money at it. I do not support further increases to paid parking but support paid parking on Sundays if it is at a lesser rate than other days.

Local Water Done Well feedback

Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model

Why did you choose this option?
I would prefer a CCO that is a collaboration with other councils to reduce costs, but of your two options, the service remaining in house seems to be the best financial approach.

Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
