Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
We will never see another building like this anywhere in the country. It is of great interest to everyone who appreciates historic buildings, as it beautifies the city by its just being there. It is a very attractive addition to our historic buildings. Please do not lose this building, it can never be brought back. In the future this lovely building could again be used as a theatre or drama college or some educational building. Please do not get rid of it, once it is gone it is gone forever. When I saved the Railway Station they said "what will we do with it, I said its a landmark, and it will be great for tourism, and it has sure proved its worth since then,
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
It costs money to maintain and keep this building in a good condition so it would be fair to charge people to enjoy our buildings and Art Gallery.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
I am not able to attend any meetings and I don't use a computer, but I can be contacted by phone in the mornings.
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model
Why did you choose this option?
I think we should leave our water as it is now and I choose Option 1. It seems to me to be a waste of money to change anything. It will get messy having anyone else trying to have a say over what is happening with our water.
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
