9 yr plan 2025 and Local Water Done Well Submission

Submission

9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
This is a valuable resource for performing arts in Dunedin and should be retained

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
This is too high to encourage visitors to still attend. A nominal fee perhaps, but not this high.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Retention of the new performing arts centre is absolutely crucial to the continuation of performing arts in Dunedin - at the moment we have a few small theatres but the quality produced is fantastic and we need to continue to support this. A new centre would ensure sustainability of this in Dunedin, which is known for being a creative city

Local Water Done Well feedback

Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model

Why did you choose this option?
Cost savings

Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
