Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
This property, along with others eg: Sammys should be sold. If that can be profitable then that is not up to DCC, but should be done by the private sector.
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
This has been tried before. Take car that administration does not cost more than the returns.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
The questionnaire hardly address issues likely to be very important to most ratepayers, such as predicted rates increases. Funding to non-essentials should be cut totally so that debt and provision of core water, waste and transport services only are funded. The controversy about Smooth Hill vs alternatives is not addresses.
