Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Please raise the amount allocated for the libraries' book and other library materials purchases. With inflation and the the current economic volatility in the world, the amount allocated for this should increase every year.
The South Dunedin Library needs the full upstairs space for the community as originally planned.
Don't repeat the disastrous closure of the libraries over Christmas and New Year ever again. We all need libraries more than ever now.
Dunedin urgently needs a professional theatre space, DCC should be spending money on this now.
Find an alternative to Smooth Hill by trucking rubbish to Winton and getting Dunedin people to do way more reduce/reuse/recycle. And continue to show people how to make compost.
DCC should embrace the idea of Dunedin as the wildlife capital of NZ and showcase this by giving way more support to the Wild Dunedin Festival.
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
A Three Waters Council-Controlled Organisation (CCO)
Why did you choose this option?
Ability to borrow more which is very necessary due to the poor state of the water infrastructure.
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
Should have been Labour's Three Waters model. Why did the DCC oppose this? It make far more sense to have larger bodies handling water.
