Funding to complete the peninsula road widening project is essential, especially the Portobello School section, Ōtākou fisheries and inland Harwood route. The completed sections are already well used and it's critical this is completed. Funding to complete the final three stages of Te Awa Ōtākou – Peninsula Connection $18.5 million.
Please make this a priority for the safety of local children and their families the already completed sections of the pathway have made a hudge difference to the saftey of all people ,walkers cyclists and motorvehicle drivers

A Three Waters Council-Controlled Organisation (CCO)
Why did you choose this option?
A CCO offers the potential to join with other councils to deliver water infrastructure.
I think the inhouse option works against the potential for wider collaboration to achieve efficiencies by working on a larger scale.
It creates a more colaberative approach to infrastructure development . Sinergies of equipment can make emergency responces much quicker and cheaper
Many Dunedin ratepayers use these services in other regions so any claims of subsidising others is eronious
