Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
its such a beautiful building i think it should be renovated and utilised in some way.

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
i think its a given that non locals should pay for these attractions but $15 would be more feesable

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
As a member of the Dunedin skateboarding community id like to say that is far beyond time for a new high spec skatepark in dunedin. Thomas Burns skatepark is outdated by about 15 years and is not being utiliosed effiently by our community due to this fact. Other citys like CHCH for an example created a yearly budget savings scheme to build a parks over time but at least then our community would know our council is at least saving to build us what we need. Proper consultation with the community and appropriate contractors as well so the park built is one of high level and is what the community actually wants. A fully functional park of a high level that is appropriatley maintained as any other park in the city. This keeps these enviroments safe for our tamariki and familys and grows our sport widely. Dunedin is becoming a globalally noticed location for this sport in the streets. With brands like NIKE / go pro sending professionals here just to skate our city. If the local people had an appropriate training ground who knows who the next dunedin olympian could be. Every other city.. even invercargill has built a park like this. Dunedin has a much larger community than most of these places. Its our turn. It does you favours as well as it keeps practicing skaters out of the cbd and in a safe location dedicated to them. This is something needed. Not a want but a need for our community. I understand it may not be a priority for older council members however for us it means everything and their are hundreds of us here. We have even resorted to building one ourselves on privatley donated land just because we have nowehre else to go. If that isnt a scream from the mountains for change i dont know what is.Its time to do what was promised years ago and pull finger here. please from the bottom of ALL our hearts. Thank you
