Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
Why did you choose this option?
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
I cannot find an option to submit on the smooth hill landfill but would like to register my opposition on the basis of high cost to the council where cheaper options exist. Additionally, despite many glorious beaches there are very few safe swimming spots in dunedin for small children. Kaikorai estuary at waldronville is one option but no one wants to play with little kids there due to intermittent smell and unease about the landfill upstream. If smooth hill goes ahead it will remove another safe swimming spots for kids at the otokia creek at Brighton which is intrinsically valuable for all dunedin residents to enjoy.
