Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
$10 would be more suitable or $20 for a ticket to both
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Dunedin City desperately needs and deserves a new skateboarding facility.
Much has been promised in the past by council with plenty of money clearly gone into planning but no actual construction.
Participation numbers and passion for skateboarding are high in Dunedin, prime example of the need for a new park being the skater built DIY skatepark.
In this digital age it is becoming more and more important to get our people off the couch and outside in the community doing something physical whilst also encouraging participation in a community.
Skateboarding is a great pursuit engaging the body, benefiting mental health and allowing individuals to be part of a community within the city. The Thomas burns park is aging rapidly and is the most accessible skatepark, a new facility in the general city area would benefit the people of Dunedin greatly and also if done well become a tourist attraction for skaters from other parts of the country.
