9 year plan feedback
Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Most definitely charge out of town visitors. Other centres do it and this would generate extra revenue for heritage/festivals.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
To allow feedback on only two areas of this plan, both of which are of very little significance, shows a complete lack of willingness to engage with the Dunedin community.
There are major areas of expenditure that demand public input eg Smooth Hill, peninsula connection. It is no wonder there is huge mistrust in this council and their commitment to the people of dunedin.
Fortunately it is an election year and we have the opportunity to rid ourselves of an inept and callous council.
