Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Our food system is highly vulnerable and many citizens cannot afford healthy food. I recommend DCC set up a local food resilience policy, in partnership with ORC. This is to ensure our city becomes more self sufficient and there is enough healthy food for all, within the limits of our regional physical situation. A healthy environment comes first: biodiversity, clean air, water, soils etc. This is the basis for growing local healthy food for local people, from small scale mixed farms, to community gardens, allotments, productive berms permaculture style. Facilitate local community owned food markets and hubs. Fund a position at DCC within the Community Development team to coordinate this. Facilitate conversations on how to use our limited resources. Acknowledge that there are limits to expansion and see this as an opportunity for inventions.. I recommend wide community input before budgets are set. Hold citizens assemblies. Please utilise and continue the work started with Doughnut Economics which is a very useful tool to balance demands within natural constraints. This opens up opportunities to develop healthy and happy communities that do not undermine their viability by depleting their environment and resources.
