9 year plan feedback
Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
As a budget traveler I have enjoyed free access to museums in Australia, England, and Scotland, and I'd like my rates to contribute to returning this favour to visitors to our city. Without that free access I wouldn't have seen many of the museums I did, and entering into a tit-for-tat user-pays fee model means that low-income travelers will lose out.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
-Fund a full and a half time wage to further the good work outlined in the Ōtepoti Live Music Action Plan.
-To address the spiraling rates increases (which have a disproportionate effect on low-income people), increase the amount of rates relief or subsidies for low-income households.
-DCC needs to plan for building increased social housing to cover for central government's failure in such.
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
Why did you choose this option?
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
Chose the option that makes privatisation of our water and infrastructure the most difficult. And ideally the one that is least likely to allow water-meters.
