No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Yes - please see two letters attached to this submission
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
We want a thriving Arts community in this city. Promoting our Art to international visitors is important. Demonstrating Manaakitanga to our visitors will maintain the positive reputation we have with tourists.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Please read the letters attached about the dire need for a purpose built theatre in this city. Since the unfortunate Fortune closure I have been taking senior Drama students to witness world class theatre at Christchurch's Court theatre. Our city's citizens (and visitors) come here for the culture (not just sporting culture - artistic and manawa whenua culture)
