The council should do more to support creative arts and music in Dunedin, especially with its rich history that the city loves to promote (without doing much to work with what's going on in the community now). We need venues and protections for them to operate. More should be done to put pressure on landlords of empty spaces in our main shopping areas, there are way too many empty spaces that could be thriving with business if landlords weren't so greedy and lazy. It really brings the whole city down in quality to leave buildings to rot.
