Submission
Variation 2 change ID Provision name and number, or address and map layer name 195 Wakari road - CT 17C/596 My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change with amendments outlined below Details As a homeowner the proposed rezoning form rural residential to general residential 1 that will occur behind my house will negatively impact on my quiet enjoyment of this area . I am aware that there is an encumbrance registered against the above title of approximately 20 metres adjacent to the rear of my property. I submit that this area be retained and extended back by an additional 20 metres with a commitment to develop a green space that is unable to be built on . in addition I submit that the section sizes along the rear boundaries of the existing homeowners be zoned as large residential ( section size 2000m) Reasons for these views the green space at the rear of my property contributes to my peaceful enjoyment of living in this area .I have lived here for over 30 years and the green space and peaceful nature of a low density area is paramount . I accept the need for change but submit that the existing homeowners should not be negatively impacted. Any development of the area should respect the existing 20 metre encumbrance and minimize the impact of rezoning the area to general residential by having the sections size as large Lot Residential along the rear boundary of existing homeowners . Any sections further back could be zoned general residential as they would not negatively impact existing homeowners being further away .
