Variation 2 change ID Section 32 and planning map for Te Ngaru
Provision name and number, or address and map layer name Rural zoning for 761 Aramoana Road, Te Ngaru
My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Multiple submission points/decisions outlined below
Details Section 32 Report - amend to include 761 Aramoana Road, Te Ngaru to Township and Settlement zone Planning Maps - amend to include 761 Aramoana Road, Te Ngaru to Township and Settlement zone
Reasons for these views Our submission is that the s32 report is incomplete as it has not evaluated all of the alternative options to achieve the provision of additional residential capacity in the City. Rezoning rural land at 761 Aramoana Road, Te Ngaru to Township and Settlement zone will assist in providing this capacity. Only a very small part of the property at 761 Aramoana Road, Te Ngaru has been zoned Township and Settlement with the rest remaining Rural. Part of the Rural zone portion of the property fronts Aramoana Road and sits between land zoned Township and Settlement. This has previously had consent to be developed for a dwelling but unfortunately, due to family issues, this consent has since lapsed. The Consent Order authorising this is attached. We seek that all of the land that fronts Aramoana Road on this property be rezoned Township and Settlement zone to the extent that it gives effect to the attached consent order.
