    Variation 2 change ID A2, A2-Alt1, A3, B1, B3, B4, B6, E9, IN03
Provision name and number, or address and map layer name Change IN03: Rezoning from General Residential 1 to General Residential 2– Green Island - specifically 6 Kirkland Street and 19A Church Street, Green Island
My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change
Details I support the proposal to allow more intensive development of the property to allow a total of 4 residential dwellings to be developed on the site rather than the current 2 dwellings allowed as of right under the 2GP at present
Reasons for these views Intensification of development within the existing city boundaries will: 1. allow quicker development on new residential dwellings as compared with looking to establish new large greenfield subdivisions; 2. help protect greenfield land.
