My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Multiple submission points/decisions outlined below
Details A1 - Reject the change in its current form insofar as it mentions "'terrace style' developments".
Reasons for these views There is already a shortage of vehicular parking in Dunedin - even outside of the CBD. Many of Dunedin's residential streets are narrow and bereft of off-street parking - some do not even complete footpaths. Unless terrace style developments are going to be required to include off-street parking in their design, any increase in the number of such developments (i.e. residential dwellings that are designed to house multiple households) will only exacerbate this problem further.
