My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council:	Accept the change with amendments outlined below
Details	If residential development proceeds on this site then it should be connected with the existing communities in Liberton/Pine Hill via a walkway/roadway (potentially off Truby King Cr/Croydon St) Just a walking passageway would be sufficient Ideally this and any streets within the development would follow contours as much as possible, avoiding excessive steepness
Reasons for these views	This would have several benefits: 1. Connect the new and existing communities, avoiding the need to drive/bus down to the Valley and then up again/vice versa just to get to neighbouring houses/nearby schools etc 2. Encourage walking - walkable city 3. Provide a useful route between Liberton/Pine Hill and Northeast Valley, an alternative to Barclay St/Buccleugh St
