Submission
Variation 2 change ID Variation 2, including A1, A2, A3, B1, B3, B4, B6, C1, E9 and others Provision name and number, or address and map layer name My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Multiple submission points/decisions outlined below Details I accept Variation 2 to the 2GDP to increase housing density and availability of sites to build on, however I would like Council to ensure that there is adequate infrastructure (3-Waters) provided. I would also like Council to ensure that communal, outdoor children's play areas are provided within each larger (4 or more dwelling units) development, in addition to private, individual outdoor amenity spaces. Reasons for these views Children need safe outdoor spaces in which to play that are adjacent to where they live so that they can be outside whilst parents/caregivers are attending to other essential tasks which must be done in the home, such as preparing meals or feeding babies. This is a critical part of healthy child development and is important for the mental health of the parents/caregivers too.
