Variation 2 change ID IND2 Provision name and number, or address and map layer name Burgess Street & environs, Green Island My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change Details We support the change in zoning from General Residential 1 to General Residential 2 at Burgess Street & environs in Green Island Reasons for these views The change in zoning from GR1 to GR2 at Burgess Street & environs is supported as: This will make efficient use of the scarce residential land resource; It will provide for further residential subdivision and development in an established residential area that is close to existing community and commercial facilities at Green Island; The change of zoning is better than the alternatives, particularly the status quo; and This aspect of Variation 2 is consistent with the purpose and principles of the Resource Management Act 1991.
