Submission
Variation 2 change ID GF10 Provision name and number, or address and map layer name My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change with amendments outlined below Details Accept the changes of the GF10 rezoning from rural to large lot residential 1 - 32 / 45 Honeystone Street. The rezoning from rural to large lot residential 1 should be extended to include the properties 63, 71,85 Wakari Road and 32 Larkins Street. Reasons for these views The reasons for the change to the sections above to large lot residential 1 can be seen in the 2006 District plan that a line was drawn from the residential properties on Larkin Street roughly parallel to Wakari Road creating a block of residential land the GF10 moves this residential line back to a common property boundary line roughly parallel to Wakari Road and coincides with the steeper bush clad part of the hills behind former farmland. These properties would eventually be surrounded by residential homes which may well object to rural activities. Although the land is rural it is not economic to under take most rural activities at the small scale of these properties rendering the land next to useless. I have meet and spoken with two of the other three property owners and they agree that this is a good idea and would like very much to see it accepted as part of the GF10.
