Submission
Variation 2 change ID E7 Provision name and number, or address and map layer name My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change with amendments outlined below Details We suggest the scope of the change is widened to include not just transportable homes but also to encompass other alternative, affordable, habitable structures such as small modular units. Alternatively, we suggest a new definition is added (e.g. "pioneer village") to better capture and describe alternative, long-stay forms of accommodation, perhaps modelled off the campground definition but to recognise the semi-permanent and/or long-term nature of occupation. Reasons for these views We recognise that the scope for proposed change E7 includes consideration of potential methods to provide for long-stay facilities. To that end, please find attached a supporting document outlining our thoughts on a suggested 'pioneer village' concept.
