Details A2 and A3 6 Park Road, Warrington, submitting against proposed Change of density, size of sections, increase of housing density, My submission seeks the following decision from the Council F3 Reject the change Details F3 Reject the change
Reasons for these views As a regular visitor to Warrington since the 1970s and a partner to a resident since 2016, I have watched the township endure significant residential growth and a massive rise in visitor numbers in recent years. The proposed change to increase the density of housing development will significantly alter the "sleepy village" character of the township, which is lacking the infrastructure to support such a change. I refer specifically to developments at 6 Park Road - in the context of already existing subdivisions and housing activity in this area, allowing dense housing development at this address will significantly add to the burden this small village is already carrying, and rob the village of green space, which is increasingly in decline due to development. The site also hosts a variety of wildlife, notably pukeko, wild heron and other native birds. I very strongly object to proposed change to allow change in density of the new developments.
