9 year plan feedback
Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
I support the Tunnels Trail project to develop a Shared Path/Cycleway between Mosgiel and Caversham, and want it added back in to the Annual Plan for immediate action. I believe that this is incredibly important to our economic well being, we are missing a huge opportunity from cycle tourists. I just rode the sounds to sounds route and it was a river of money coming down the trail as cyclists quietly potter along spending money. The economic benefit to Out Ram, Mosgiel and Dunedin out weigh the costs.
The Tunnels Trail project should be funded without delay, and given high priority, with a focus of delivering operational sections as soon as possible. The trail does not need to be perfect. We can start with a gravel track and improve it slowly. Not every road in the country started out tar sealed. Lets do this.
